THINGS I LOVE: BLUSH (& BASHFULL) AND CORAL

I am currently, unabashedly fixated on coral, blush and neutral in my personal life.

You see it in the look and feel of this blog, you'll see it in my upcoming Palm Springs wedding to Joe, (which you can follow the research and design of here: www.thisisnoordinarylove.com ) and you can see it in my wardrobe.

Speaking of wardrobe, I am beyond thrilled to see my interior design idol, Kelly Wearstler, launching into the fashion world. I have now happily added her to my list of fashion favorites - right alongside Stella McCartney.

2006

In 2006, I was contracted by eFashion Solutions in NJ to art direct and design the newly launching Vince ecommerce website. After visiting the Vince studio in NYC with eFashion, I knew their natural, yet minimal, design aesthetic was the perfect fit for me.

After first designing and developing a phase 1 / informational website together, we then created a phase 2 / fully fashionable and functional, branded retail space online.

Responsibilities included: art direction, graphical user interface design

INTERIORS: MID-CENTURY CONDO

2009

From 2009-2010, I rented a cute mid-century condo in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach, CA. It had great lines, huge windows, large spaces, and tons of storage. However, it came with dated finishes and fixtures. Being that it was a rental, there wasn't much that could be done beyond painting, changing lights, switchplates, drawer pulls, and accessorizing.
Which is exactly what I did.

PRODUCT: FAMILY DOG MERCHANDISE

With use of iconic licensed images from the historic San Francisco music promotion group, Family Dog, Rhino Records looked to me to create a series of contemporary Family Dog merchandise. Elements of the original poster artwork were modified and redesigned to create a line of pillows, tote bags, t-shirts, and yoga mats.
